It’s good to see the Organic farming sector has been experiencing significant growth in recent years. So it’s not surprising that we had an ever growing number of both our  Wholesale & Retail Feed customers  enquiring about Organic feed in recent years.

The production & distribution of Organic Feed is a highly specialized business and has a range of stringent regulatory conditions in place to ensure adherence by all parties involved,  to very high standards of Raw material & Finished product traceability . There is zero tolerance for cross contamination with non-organic feedstuffs.  Our entire feed business is built around a state of the art, highly efficient , conventional feed milling facility. It is set up solely for the manufacture and distribution of standard / non -organic feedstuffs, so we had no option but to partner with a specialized Organic Feed manufacturer.

From the outset, we found the supply of locally produced , Irish Organic feeds to be somewhat erratic and basically unreliable, leaving it impossible for us to be able to guarantee continuity of supply to our Organic feed customers.  So we were left with no option but to look outside of Ireland for a suitable Organic Feed manufacturing partner and in late 2022  we were delighted to announce the  French based , specialist Organic Feeds manufacturer,  Raizup Nutrition Care (www.raiz-up.com) as our primary source of Organic Feeds.
